David Skoko: A Bike, Some Wine and a Cook

In nine episodes of this culinary travelogue adventure chef David Skoko takes us across Croatia to visit some of our most prominent local winemakers – from Slavonia and Baranja, Zagorje and Plešivica to Zadar, Krk, Pelješac, and, of course, Istria.

This interesting combination of a documentary series and an entertainment format includes gastronomy, oenology, travelogue, all presented with the authentic charm and uninhibited spirit of one of our most successful local chefs, "the fisherman's son" David Skoko. On his journey, he provides insight into local attractions and uncovers diverse stories about Croatia's most successful winemaking projects, and along the way – he cooks. He uses local ingredients for interesting dishes that he prepares on his charming traveling stove wood-fired.
